Alstonefield is located between Ashbourne and Buxton off the A515. The turning to Alstonefield is 6 miles (North) from Ashbourne and 9 miles (South) from Buxton.

Take the turning signed to Alstonefield off the A515 and proceed down the hill to the River Dove. Cross over the small stone bridge and take the right fork, proceed up the hill and into the village.

As you enter the village take the first left by the village green and drive past the George Inn (on your right), turn right and proceed on this road to a T junction, turn left and proceed out of the village for 250 yards. The driveway for Top of Hope Farm will be on your left.
